Dr. Karen Murphy, Veterinarian
Emily, Receptionist
Emily has been a receptionist at RRVH since 2009. In addition, she also works at the Old Town Animal Orphanage. Emily graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She has 3 Shar Peis, many cats and ferrets, and a veritable zoo of exotic pets. She enjoys spending time with her husband and reading in her spare time.

Kerrie, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kerrie joined the RRVH Veterinary Technician team in the spring of 2015. She lives with two dogs named Snickers (in her profile photo) and Moxie, three cats, two ducks, and a sneaky wild rat that lives with the ducks! Kerrie loves traveling and hanging out with her family in her free time.

Samantha, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Sam is a 2017 graduate of the UMA-Bangor Veterinary Technology program. She did her pre-graduation externship here. We liked her so much that we decided to keep her!
Shannah, Receptionist
Shannah joined the RRVH team as a receptionist in the Winter of 2020. When she isn’t helping our wonderful clients, she works at the Old Town Animal Orphanage and has since 2009! She is very passionate about working with stray and abandoned animals. At home, Shannah has six cats, one dog, one rabbit, two Guinea pigs, multiple fish tanks, three rats, and two bearded dragons. When she’s not focusing on the animals, she loves to cook!
